Today I went around 8am. Found my way to the HR office , but no receptionist yet cos I was too early . So went to Tapir Resting Den and put down stuff. Ser Seng already there , so he brought me around to get work done. We went to the Otters first. Watch him let the otters out. Devil tank otters dont want to go out lor , so cute. He had to pretend to open the door to go in before the otters ran out. Then we headed to the Siamang , I was so scared lor , but turned out Simbu and Anna was pretty tame. Anna let me scratch her hand ! SO sweet , such a nice mother. Then I was brought to the Proboscis place.Finally I was given something to do. Ser Seng let me sweep the floor of leaves , and he commented that I was fast :) Yay. Then went to the Deer. Then went back to Tapir. Cut fruits. Met Ismail for the first time. SerSeng was so fierce to him , make me tremble as I was cutting fruits( banana, carrot , honeydew and one weird looking fruit) for the Tortoise. Apparently or Hornbill is sooo picky that it doesnt eat fruit skin. And only primates eats oranges i think. Then followed Fiqah to sort leaves.! Then feeding time ^^ Alicia was there too. Fiqah told me to throw into the water first before giving the otters individually , so they wont be lazy and just stand around there.
Fiqah brought me to the night safari place for lunch. Met her at 1pm+ at the otters place preparing stuff for 2pm feeding. Watch Fiqah wash the otter's wound by spraying the eye with some red solution. She then told me to put the medication back into the fridge. She asked me to feed the tortoise , all by myself ^^ yay. After that we went to find Simbu and Anna again to feed them fruits. Apparently Ser Seng got a eardrum infection from listening to their loud calls. Didnt know that can happen. Followed her to the mousedeer, saw parrots. Then went for 2nd feeing. Ser Seng was there. Alicia taught me how to get the Brown Limus to jump on my shoulders. Then I chiong to the otters. Fed otters. Then went in Otters den to find Fiqah. Fiqah say next time , I can go straight to the Babirusa and feed them. Green bucket thats on the top. If its not there means someone else fed it. Then went to white tiger , saw Alicia again , she also same age as me ^^ We highfived at that . haha she so cute.
Then they brought me to the store to get clothes. 2 XS shirt and 1 30 pants. Boots not here yet (size 5) and another pants. Then went to wait for Diana , we wanted to go Polar Bear one , but Ser Seng had to be there for some maintenance check , so we went back to Tapir. Sat around and waited for them to measure. Then we went to leaf tank area for the leaves to come. Diana asked me if I like the job , I told her yes and asked if ill be transferred around . She asked if I wanted to , i say no , i like my area. then shes like " Okay lor , then you base here , unless needed then have to move , but you'll always come back here" . YAY !!! HOHO. And apparently i will be given some project to monitor the white tiger . Watch his pacing behavoir. Then might have to come back on Sat and Suns. And my working days are Mon-Fri usually , unless told otherwise. :) YAY. All is good. Then it started to rain. So they had to keep all the tree animals in case lightning strike. I couldnt go to the Tiger cos no more umbrella and I didnt want to wear the raincoat. Next time bah ! I havent seen the Tiger den yet. Then at around 5.45 , Ser Seng say we can go , Fiqah brought me to bathe at the Tiger den. She wont be coming tmr. :( But Ismail and Ser Seng will be here.
Met XiaoJun and went home~

Day1 of internship
Today is day 1 of internship !
It shall also be day one of my beauty sleep! Lets see , morning . Woke my baby up at 5am. He must be tired from the work last night. Went to brush teeth, changed. Then dear went to brush teeth and change. Went to Fajar at around 6.12am he drank tehping and I ate toast. Kissed me goodbye after saying " hope I don't get stomped". I took the lrt at around 6.35am. Went lot 1 to get McDonald's after eating toast . Haha need energy for work ! Yoosh !
Reached around 7.20am. Satsatsat. Met Nataniel , think he working at the zoo too. Went to the HR. wrote some stuff , got our lunch coupon and name tag. And punch card . Went to the zoology department , wait for the admin to allocate us . Now I'm in treetops and XiaoJun is under the orangutans. Met Fiqah first who told me to relax and not do anything. Then this guy call SerSeng brought me to get shoes , put down stuff , changed name tag. Brought me to count tortoise. Fiqah then waited as we fed the siamang . Met this cute sweet looking girl call Alicia who is waiting for her A Levels to start . Then I was told to put bread inside this cup when Alicia say " on the forest floor" . Then feed the Monkeys. SerSeng taught me how to feed the otters, but throwing the pellets towards their chest so that they will catch it, then after that , empty it for them to play "mahjong" . Upper pool are the Angels ( wont bite) and Lower pool are the devils ( bite anyone, anywhere ) . After that we just sat there and they talked . Apparently SerSeng owns rats. Then he taught us how to differentiate monkey safe leaves from monkey-danger leaves. No smell , smelly , bitter smell , all cannot . Sweet , fragrant ones can. After that they brought me to feed the toucan . I can't feed the proboscis monkey cos I'm not in their uniform and it drives the monkey crazy. Now I'm at the zoology resting area . Ate lunch and now they are sleeping. Sam came and told them I wasnt allowed to be in the zoology area because Im not a zookeeper. Bleh .
Went around to get some stuff prepared for the later show. Selected fish for the otters and the tortoise. Put fruits and changed water at the barking deer place. Fed the tortoise by directly placing fish into their mouths , make sure everyone gets it so arowanna dont get to it.
For the second feeding session , feed the barking deer with long beans and kangkong. Fed the otters with small fishes , Fiqah told me to feed while they stand up because they can also check their bodies( injured/pregnant) in the mean time. Give them one each at first , then give them 2 each later . Followed SerSeng to the white tigers later. Alicia is so nice , she said " white tigers...etcetc... thank you to our zookeepers SerSeng and Regine " I flashed her a huge grin afterwards.
Then we went to cut leaves. Smell sweet leaves , Jambu leaves. Fiqah say the monkeys can probably differentiate it themselves , but some people claim that they have been captivated too long to follow natural instincts. -shrugs-
After that , sat around , watch Inda Pee. waited for Fiqah to bathe. Met XiaoJun , Fiqah brought us to the punchcard. Tmr , im going earlier to do the punching. Was fun . Goodnight
