New house progress

Since I'm at aunt's house with wifi, I want to blog about the current status of our Fajar Hill flat. Renovations started in early November, only our toilet is done so far.

The following are the pictures drawn by our Interior Designer, Felix.

Above is the shoe cabinet my mom wanted and Felix designed. Mummy wanted a huge shoe cabinet that can fit all our shoes, I wanted the small corner to sit and wear our shoes. The colours were close to what we wanted, hopefully it turned out exactly like that.
I don't really care for the living room, but the picture looks good. The only thing we decided was the material for the TV console so far.

And the kitchen looks good too. We just chose the material of the kitchen cabinet.

Now this is the part that I'm excited about. My Bed!

Bedroom's furniture positioning according to FengShui person. I'm not really superstitious but whatever.

I really liked this bed I saw at the expo, but since my bed had to be positioned a certain way, this wouldn't fit.

It was a tie between this white royalty-like bed.

And this platform bed. And I got the best of both worlds, I was told I could customize my own bed!

So i chose this colour.

This mattress. It's super comfy, It's very soft and gives the feeling of someone hugging you.

Tadaah~ Out of anticipation, I went home that day and sketch this picture out. My bed should look something like this. White headboard with diamonds, with white and black platform. Looking forward to seeing the actual thing.

Now for Curtains and Blinds!

Saw this kind of roller blinds at Marina square and I fell in love. You can choose the amount of light you want in by using a simple roller mechanism. But at Marina square, they were selling it at $300+ per blind.
My mom was super smart though, she found the same thing on Qoo10 ! We bought 3 sets of it for $300+ !  Woot woot ! Quarter of the price!

So I chose this Basic black colour to match my room's black and white theme.

The curtain guy came this morning to measure our living room windows and we're doing the top purplish-grey colour for our curtains.

Toilets

The only work reno that's in progress is the toilet right now.

This is what our will look like if we were not to not do anything to it. Which is simple EXCEPT for the horrendous pattern beside the shower, What the hell HDB!

I think our toilet looks really good! My uncle picked out this resort-ish tile and my bro and I loved it! This is only one small corner, Will take a better picture next time. Can't wait!
