Suki-ya
Last week Dearie told me that he's going to get results on tuesday (today) and that he doesn't want to meet me so he can have one day to emo, but if he did better than expected, he'll treat me to good food.
So happy him (and me, cause free food!) changed our date to today and went to eat Shabu Shabu buffet at Bukit panjang plaza.
Went to the bar and I think the boyfriend is slightly worried not seeing any meet on the bar. We took some meatballs, veggies, noodles and went back.
Came back to 9 trays of meat on the table and he seemed relieved.
We got the Sukiyaki soup base (left) supposedly a Japanese favourite, combination of soy sauce, sugar & mirin and Butaniku soup base (Right), recommended by their staff, which is some pork based broth soup.
I personally prefer the Butaniku and did my Shabu Shabu mostly on that side. Dear initially said he's not going to touch the Butaniku because of its colour but ended up cooking on both sides, heh.
Down to the last 3 trays we've only starting seeing the beef. In the end we finished all 9 trays , oh yeahh~ , but we were SUPER SUPER SUPER DUPER full and concluded that we won't be going back there for awhile (not their fault, food was good, we were gluttons).
Boyfriend is now in a food coma. It's been four hours and I'm still full, guess we could skip dinner tonight.
They were having promo $14.90+ each, we paid $37.90 altogether.
