Saw this at Watsons today, at a discounted price of $11.10. Did a quick search but there were no reviews on it at all online. But I really like this colour depicted on the box, so I shall be the guinea pig! The colour I got is Honey Berry 01.
First thing I noticed when I open the box is the smell. It smells really good !
Inside the box, there's 2 bottles of solution 1 (colourant liquid) and solution 2 (developer milk). There's also a the instruction sheet, mousse pump, gloves and a packet of hair treatment. I wish they included a shower cap! Instructions were very simple.
The bottle was sufficient for my hair length.
"Before" hair colour under indoor lighting.
"Before" hair colour under natural light.
Pouring bottle one into bottle two.
The bubbles. Similar to Liese.
All lathered up.
-Wait for 40mins (the instructions said no more than 30mins, but ah wells)-
I am so pleased with the results! I can even tell that there's a colour difference even when my hair is still wet.
Tadaah~
Verdict:
I like it very much and will definitely use this brand again next time.
- Not too damaging! My hair (as of now) is still feeling soft, although it's slightly drier, but it's sort of expected and it's already very good especially with the results.
- The ammonia smell is very light, isn't very strong like the Gatsby that really chokes.
- Nice colour! The closest I can get to a burgundy-red like this with Liese is Antique rose. But antique rose doesn't really show with my natural hair and is only obvious under strong sunlight.
- Foams like Liese, easy application. Steps were simple and easy as well.
- But at a cheaper price! [$11.10 from watsons]
Problems: Their bottle is not transparent like Liese's. I didn't know if it was "thoroughly mixed" because I couldn't see. Have to go by gut fill which I have little of, so I mixed it a little too much and it overflowed a little when I switched to the mousse pump. But not a big deal la.
